A new open platform for sharing materials and ideas related to digital anthropology and conducting digital ethnography.

In this time of quarantine and confinement, instructors not familiar to digital anthropology are looking for resources to orient their students and students are looking for materials to rethink their projects.

David Bozzini and Audrey Varone of the University of Fribourg set up an open space on the «Platform for Experimental Collaborative Ethnography (PECE)» to share materials and ideas related to digital anthropology and conducting digital ethnography. The organizers believe that «during these challenging times, sharing our views and our resources are important and useful.»

The material can be found at: https://cva.unifr.ch/content/digital-ethnography. The platform does not intend to be representative of the literature on digital anthropology and digital ethnography, but a collaborative space, where anybody can share articles, bibliographies and contribute to the discussion and to share useful resources. Members can comment on material, post summaries or  add your suggestions to the list of resources available here. To contribute to this project, you can create an account here: https://cva.unifr.ch/user/register
