The CCAR launch symposium will be focusing on ethics, technology and Africa. Particular emphasis will be put on the potentials and risks of Artificial Intelligence and new Information and Communication Technologies for the African continent. The symposium features keynote speakers, roundtables, and discussants of various disciplines and aims at kick-starting a fruitful intercontinental discourse and network between scholars in Switzerland and on the African Continent. The symposium will offer a platform for cutting-edge contributions particularly of young African researchers and activists.

The CCAR would be delighted to welcome many interested participants of various backgrounds at the launch symposium.

Participation is free, but advance registration is required due to space limitations.
