Open Science and Data Management

The Position Paper on “Open Science and Data Management in Anthropological Research” is the result of a four-year, multi-party process catalyzed by new data management protocols instituted by the Swiss National Science Foundation. It was adopted by the SAA General Assembly on November 4, 2021, and its intended audience is the Swiss anthropological community.

The “Executive Summary” provides a synthesis of the Position Paper specifically aimed at the principal institutions governing research in Switzerland.
