The online workshop “Rethinking Decolonisation: African Knowledge, Religion and Global Health” offered by the Departement of History of the University of Basel will take place on Monday 29 May as of 10 am. The organizer of this workshop, Tolulope Esther Fadeyi, is a PhD candidate at the Department of History and Center for African Studies in Basel. The focus of the workshop is on indigenous medical-scientific knowledges and approaches as well as global responses and policies. In particular, it focuses on methods, approaches, knowledge, and practices initiated by Africans which have been and are still relevant in global spheres.
