After an interruption of two years the Commission met again on 5th December at the Museo delle Culture in Lugano. All those present gave a brief account of what has happened in their respective museums over the past two years, what the current situation is like and what the future prospects are. Other topics were discussed, such as the co-branding between the museums, the web presence of the Museum Commission on the SEG/SSE website, the inventory of the holdings of artworks and artefacts from Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia in the Swiss ethnographic museums.
Two meetings of the Museum Commission are planned for next year, one in spring and the other in autumn.
