Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology (formerly TSANTSA): Call for Special Issue 2023

Call for Papers

The Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology (SJSCA) – formerly TSANTSA – invites proposals for a Special Issue. The Special Issue offers guest editors, in collaboration with the editorial board, the opportunity to examine anthropological problems and topics from various perspectives in a series of articles, each contributing to the in-depth discussion of a unifying theme. The Special Issue explores themes of relevance and sheds light on the current state of research in various subfields of social and cultural anthropology.

The Special Issue consists of 4 to 6 articles in English, French or German. Proposals containing articles in more than one of the journal’s publication languages are encouraged. All articles are subject to double-blind peer-review and are available both in print and in online open access.

Proposals may either take the form of a Call for Papers or consist of a short thematic outline followed by a list of proposed contributions.
You are invited to send us your Special Issue proposal by 15 February 2022 to the following email address: info(at)tsantsa.ch

The Special Issue for 2023 will be selected by the editorial team in late February 2022.
